“Too old to cycle…”
If you hear from someone – or catch yourself – offering this above pushback, just think of Ray Marentette, a golden oldie from Ontario who started a Facebook group called the Royal Academy of Octogenarian Cyclists some 18 months ago to connect cyclists in their 80s and older who are still actively cycling.
The number of the young and the restless in this Facebook community has since grown to over 500.
With that number of years under their belts, rest assured that there are no shortages of ‘horror stories’ to trade!
