City of North Van to Double Fines for Bike Lane Bandits
By a unanimous vote, the North Vancouver city council doubles the fines to $200 for vehicles illegally parking on bike lanes, endangering cyclists and other mobility device users by forcing them onto car traffic.
North Vancouver became the second municipality, following the city of Vancouver, to amend traffic regulations to protect vulnerable road users in Metro Vancouver.
