Construction Work To Impact Cycle Path To Pitt River Bridge
Metro Vancouver will be conducting infrastructure upgrades this spring which will impact the multi-use cycling path along Lougheed Highway in Pitt Meadows.
The project to upgrade its water infrastructure will begin in early March and is expected to take approximately three months to complete. An existing water meter located at Old Dewdney Trunk Frontage Road and Lougheed Highway east of the Pitt River Bridge will be upgraded.
During that time, construction work will encroach on a section of the multi-use path, which, as a result, will be fenced off. Cyclists would need to dismount and walk around the site.
